Hi, everyone! Today is Day 7 post-op from my spine fusion surgery. The surgeon fused the L5-S1 vertebrae. So far, I'm doing very well! Although some have reported doing well initially and have serious problems crop up 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 2 months, etc., later, I'm staying positive and continue to "hope" for the best! Or maybe I should call it surgical time out. I'm having a spine fusion on April 3rd. I expect to "keep up" during my recovery but may delay a few posts. I'll have several newsletters written and scheduled, so I expect to pick them up again without missing a beat. 🤞 The surgery is L5-S1 decompression and fusion. My daughter tells me I'm a wimp because I only have two fused. She had three about 10 years ago. And many people have 4, or 5, or even more. And many had a prior fusion. Great chances...
