Any comments on an upcoming road trip? PP & PP!

Okay. What does PP & PP stand for? How about Parks, Presidents, and Peculiar Places?

I’m planning the trip for the spring of 2025. Visiting Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas. (Maybe Nebraska on the way home.) I’m planning to visit seven presidential museums. (Hoover, Truman, Clinton, Bush I, Bush II, LBJ, and Eisenhower.)

Also planning for five National Parks: Hot Springs, Big Bend, Guadalupe Mountains, White Sands, and Carlsbad Caverns. Since the National Park Service operates, 431 locations (including the National Parks), I’m looking for more of those.

Regarding Peculiar Places, some of the quirky places on the route, like the World's Largest <Whatever>!

And.. … Historic and well-known places like the Alamo and the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We're still planning.

Any suggestions? Please let me know of other places or questions you have about such a trip.

AND… I’m planning to publish a quick newsletter nearly daily from the road. It’ll be a quick write covering some of the places I stopped. I did the same during my “26 States in 26x2 days” in 2021. If you are interested, see the next paragraph. I currently publish another weekly newsletter that I send on Fridays. I also send that group early notices of posts to my blog and occasional other information.

P.S. If you subscribe, you can read all of my past posts including 50+ posts from the 2021 26-state road trip.

Here is the Premium Subscription page: You will get early views of new blog posts, one extra weekly newsletter, and views of all past published newsletters. And occasionally, I'll ask for votes on content!

Until next time.....

Stan

Featured Post: Here’s a link to that “26-state” road trip. Although my main goal was to publish daily, I occasionally revisited my gathered material and wrote more details about additional states I had visited on that trip.
