Here's a new post about Kearney MO, near Kansas City

Published about 2 months ago • 1 min read

Hello, All!

I'm letting you know that I just completed three new posts about Kearney, MO, which is in the northeast part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

While it's the birthplace of Jesse James, the city has added more attractions in recent years. If you're visiting the KC area, be sure to stop by.

Here's the link to learn why it isn't just Jesse James anymore!

Kearney is near the center of the Lower 48. A couple hundred miles west, in Kansas, lies the very center of the country!

Thanks

Stan

At an impressive height of 33,500...

Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of southwestern Colorado, Mesa Verde National Park stands as a testament to the ingenuity and resilience of ancient Puebloan cultures. Here’s another in a series on “Most Historic” in each state. This ancient civilization lived from 300 BCE to 1300 BCE. I’d call that historic! This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a true historic marvel, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into the lives of those who called these lands home centuries ago. 🗿 As you wander...

This scenic byway has a rich history dating back to the state's early days. 📜 While visiting eastern Connecticut, take a short detour along this historic highway. While it’s just under 15 miles, the road dates back to 1826! 🌼 (The image is generated with AI to represent scenery Connecticut.) Winding through the rolling hills and lush forests of...
